Nat’l Youth win Dhaneshwari Devi memorial tournament; YMCC win KDMA League match

Kanpur: Devansh Swarup's fine century (102) and Dhanesh Chauhan's six-wicket haul empowered National Youth to beat Bharat Club by 27 runs in the final and win the Dhaneshwari Devi memorial cricket tournament, which concluded at the Chandra Cricket ground, Mandhana, on Monday.National Youth decided to bat first and posted a total of 246 runs in 35 overs. Apart from Devansh, Divyanshu Pandey also contributed 60 runs. Bharat Club, in reply, could muster 219 runs in 34 overs. Shiva Rajput (72), Yuvraj Singh (36) and Manu Singh (37) were the main scorers. Dhanesh Chauhan bagged 6 wickets.
