National Club beat Cawnpore Union in KDMA league

Kanpur: National Club earn full points in KDMA league by defeating Cawnpore Sporting Union by 2 wickets in a match held at Palika Stadium on Thursday.
Sporting Union, batting first, hit 145 runs in 29.5 overs. Opener Rahul Kumar hit the highest 65 runs in 63 balls. Thier seven batsmen failed to reach double figure. M Istiaque bagged 4 wickets while Sanjai Yadav and Ankit Yadav both bagged 2 wickets each.National Club in reply scored 146 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20.4 overs. Despite losing 3 wickets in the beginning they achieved the target.
Kaushal Gautam (23) Rajesh Singh (46) and Vikram Singh (26 NO) were the main scorers. For Cawnpore sporting Sandeep Kumar and Arun S Gautam bagged 4 and 3 wickets, respectively.
