Kanpur: Uttar Pradesh Volleyball Association has announced its men and women teams to participate in the 70th national senior volleyball championship to be held in Bhubaneswar (Odisha) from February 7 to February 13.
Announcing the names of both the teams, Sunil Kumar Tiwari, secretary of the association said the team has been picked after a coaching camp held in Varanasi.
The players of the two teams are:
Men-Avanish Pandey, Ankit Tripathi (both Mirzapur), Harsh Malik, Mohit Rathi (Muzaffar Nagar),
Vivek Rai
,Vikas Chaubey (both Varanasi), Ambar Pandey, Abhimanyu Rai (both BLW), Mukul (NER), Jai Kishan Rai, (Ghazipur), Rajneesh (Jalaun), Divyanshu Upadhyaya (Jhansi). Chief coach-Naveen Rai (BLW) coach-Bhatandu Pandey (Vns), manager-Pankaj Shukla (Prayagraj) and trainer-Anand Rai (VNS).
