Meerut Mavericks outplay Noida Superkings

Kanpur: Meerut Mavericks outplayed Noida Superkings by 42 runs in their second encounter with them in ongoing T-20 League being played here at Green Park on Monday.Since both teams have secured berth in semi finals this match was inconsequential for them therefore they rested their key players and tested their bench. Meerut, deciding to bat first, scored 176 runs for the loss of six wickets. Thereafter, they wrapped the innings of the Noida team on 134 runs. In the league phase, Meerut team has defeated Noida twice. With this win, Meerut too collected 13 points and are tied with Noida in the points table.Noida Superkings was heavily depending on Samarth Singh, who contributed 45 runs in 36 balls, hitting 4 boundaries and a six.
