Med representatives to go on strike today

Kanpur: Around 3 lakhs medical and sales representatives will observe a one-day strike on Wednesday in response to a call given by All India Federation and UP and Uttarakhand Medical & Sales Representatives Association to press for their demands. Arvind Tiwari, vice-president of UP & Uttarakhand Medical and Sales Representatives Association, said our main demands are that the Central government should recall the amendments made in the labour laws and delete all labour codes, abolish GST on medicines and essential medical equipment so that the public could get medical facilities at a low cost.tnn
