Man kills younger bro over dispute

Kanpur: A man allegedly stabbed his younger brother to death with an ice pick over a property dispute in Rawatpur area late on Wednesday night.The victim’s wife lodged an FIR accusing Vishnu, 40,of killing his younger brother Deepak Rajput, 38.The dispute took place at Deepak’s ice shop at Ekta crossing in Rawatpur, where Vishnu arrived on Wednesday and insisted that Deepak leaves the shop. When the latter refused, Vishnu entered into an altercation and later stabbed him with an Ice pick. Deepak was rushe to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead. ACP Kalyanpur Vikas Kumar Pandey said “A case under relevant sections of IPC, including 302, has been lodged against Vishnu. He has been sent to jail. The body has been handed to family members after postmortem.” tnn
