KDMA cricket league from tomorrow

KANPUR: KDMA cricket league, conducted by

Kanpur Cricket Association

, will commence from Sunday.

KCA organising secretary S N Singh said that the inaugural match will be played between NH Academy and KC Academy at 9 am at Kamla Club. MLA Ajay Kapoor would be the chief guest and UPCA director

SK Agarwal

would be the special guest. Around 600 matches would be played in the league.

Taekwondo: Colour belt promotion test of

Kanpur Taekwondo Association

will be held at Sky Valley International School in Pokharpur on October 16. According to

, president, Kanpur Taekwondo Association, the selection of district team will take place on Sunday. In belt promotion test, players from affiliated units could participate while for trials, players had to bring their birth certificate. Around 200 players from Sir Padampat Singhania Education Center, Virendra Swarup, OEF School, Phoolbagh, GNK, Guru Govind Singh Stadium, KR Education Center, Fighter Club, Attack Club and other units will participate in trials.
