KANPUR: Kanpur South humbled KDMA by 4 wickets to lift Third Malik Desh Raj Kapoor Memorial T-20 cricket tournament trophy at Green Park stadium on Monday. Deciding to bat first, KDMA posted 146 for 9 in stipulated 20 overs. Shivam Dixit scored highest 31 runs in 13 balls while Aman Yadav and Anshuman Pandey scored 25 runs each. For Kanpur South Arpit Shukla and Mayank Kumar claimed 3 wickets each conceding 23 and 26 runs respectively.
Kanpur South in reply made the requisite 149 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Raunak Singh scored 41 runs in 39 balls for his team. Mohd Saheem Hasan and Divya Prakash chipped in with 29 and unbeaten 26 runs respectively.
Mohd Sufian Khan bagged two wickets for 22 runs. After the match Divya Prakash of South team was adjudged man of the match and rewarded with cash prize of Rs 500. Kanpur South will get a cash prize of Rs 11,000 and KDMA Rs 7,000 in prize distribution ceremony.

Archery camp concludes: Month long archery camp organized by the Kanpur Archery Association at St Aloysis High School concluded on Monday. A competition was organized to mark the occasion and Prashant Shukla emerged the best trainee. Shaurya Singh Yadav and Vipul Kumar came second and third respectively. Chief coach of UP Archery Association and former Olympian Satyadeo Prasad was also present on the occasion.
