Kanpur Eaglet win by two wickets

KANPUR: Kanpur Eaglet defeated KDMA by 2 wickets in Red Chief Kanpur cricket league played at Green Park on Tuesday. KDMA, put into bat first, scored 190 for 7 in stipulated 35 overs. Captain Upendra Yadav and Shivam Dixit hit fine half centuries.
Their beginning was a nightmare as they lost their top three batsmen for just 41 runs. Shivansh Sharma and Upendra stem the rot and repaired the damage upto some extent by adding 62 runs in their partnership.
Alok Yadav and Himanshu Asnora both bagged 2 wickets each.
Kanpur Eaglet in reply hit the required runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Opener Habibur Rehman and Mohit Yadav gave their side moderate start by scoring 50 runs in their partnership. For KDMA Shivam Dixit and Upendra Yadav captured 3 and 2 wickets respectively.

Satveer XI defeats Spectrum Logistics by 8 wckts in under-18 league Under–18 league--Satveer and Lovely XI earned full points in Under–18 league when they defeated Spectrum Logistics XI by 8 wickets at Palika stadium on Tuesday.
Spectrum Logistics, batting first, could collect 129 for 9 in 28 overs. One down batsman Nitish Nigam hit highest 30 runs for his side. Shashi Bhushan of Satveer XI emerged as highest wicket taker claiming 3 wickets for 34. Satyaveer XI in reply hit required 133 runs for the loss of 2 wickets and won the match. Beginning of Satyaveer XI was not upto the mark as they lost Arpit Bhadauria and Mayank Kumar in the begining. But, opener Krishnand Dubey and Shubham K Chaudhary stiched the damage hitting unbeaten half centuries.
