Kanpur: Opener Ansh Chaudhary’s explosive batting helped Kanpur Cricketers beat Graduate Club by 19 runs in the inaugural match of 7th Malik Deshraj Kapoor cash money cricket championship held at the Kanpur South ground on Monday.Ansh in his aggressive batting faced 118 balls and scored unbeaten 177 runs smashing 20 boundaries and six sixes and enabled his team to post a sound total of 5 for 333 in 40 overs after being invited to bat first. Akash Trivedi also chipped in 63 runs. Yuvraj Yadav bagged 2 wickets for 49 runs.Graduate Club in reply scored 6 wickets for 314 runs in the stipulated 40 overs. Vikas Yadav and Abhishek Yadav scored 17 and 118 runs respectively. Akashan Shukla and Ansh Chaudhary of the Cricketers Club picked 2 wickets each for 69 and 12 runs respectively.
