Kanpur clubs dominate KDMA matches

Kanpur: SS, Rolland, Campus IIT, YMCA and Venus Club registered victories over their opponents in KDMA league matches held on Saturday at various grounds.At Gems ground, SS Club defeated Geetanjali Club by 10 wickets. Geetanjali Club were bowled out for 56, with Sankalp Singh scoring 10 runs. SS club replied with 57 without loss, Satyam Yadav remaining unbeaten on 34 and Ashutosh Gaurav with 19 not out.At PAC ground, Rolland Club outplayed Reserve Bank of India by 6 wickets. Reserve Bank of India scored 97, Ankur Kapoor top-scoring with 25. Ankul Jain took 3 for 12, Satvik Sharma 2 for 23 and Shivam Patel 2 for 31. Rolland club, in reply, scored 101 for 4, with Ankul Jain making 34 and Saurabh Mishra 22. Shashank Shekhar took 1 for 13 and Shivam Pandey 2 for 16.On IIT ground, Campus IIT beat Tilak Society by 81 runs. Campus IIT put up 200, with Shubh Yadav scoring 52, Anurag Kumar 25, Akhilesh Kumar 21, and Ansh Gupta 21 not out. Gaurav Agnihotri took 5 for 42 and Akash Jain 3 for 31. Tilak Society managed 119, Sonu Yadav contributing 35. Arnav Kulkarni took 5 for 28 and Vivek Kumar 3 for 16.At Bhatt Ground, YMCA outclassed Sporting Union by 142 runs. YMCA posted 249 for 7, with Vishesh Agnihotri making 64, Prashant Kumar Mishra 43, Shivam Patwa 34, Shivam Joshi 31 and Pratham Tripathi unbeaten on 18. Ankit Yadav picked up 2 for 27 and Lokesh Sahu 2 for 41. Sporting Union were bowled out for 107, Aryan Verma scored 27 and Lokesh Sahu 18. Aman Chudhary took 5 for 23, Shivam Patwa 2 for 2 and Anurag Kumar 2 for 23.On HBTU ground, Venus Club edged past HBTU by 1 wicket. HBTU scored 149 with Aryan Singh making 25 and Shivam Singh 23. Sanskar Sharma took 4 for 32, Lucky Rajput 3 for 39, and Atul Kartikeya 2 for 22. Venus Club replied with 150 for 9, Akash Singh hitting 38 and Atul Kartikeya 26. Utkarsh Nirmal took 3 for 37 and Yash Kumar 2 for 27.
