Jan Sangh party demand FIR against Swami Prasad Maurya

KANPUR: The Jan Sangh Party has also opened front against Samajwadi Party leader Swami Prasad Maurya for his alleged controversial statement on Ramcharitmanas.

The party’s national general secretary Rakesh Dixit has announced that whoever hits Swami Parsad Maurya with a shoe will be given Rs one lakh per shoe.

Later, the Jan Sangh party leader and workers reached Barra police station on Tuesday afternoon and lodged a written complaint and demanded the police station in charge to register an FIR against Maurya.

Rakesh Dixit said that those who believe in Sanatan Dharma have been hurt by the controversial statement on Ramcharitmanas.

“Swami Prasad is demanding ban on a religious book. An FIR should be lodged against such a leader and he should be punished,” he said.

Dixit said that he wants to give a message to the youth of today that he will give Rs one lakh to the one who hits Swami Prasad Maurya with a shoe.

“I will give Rs two lakhs to the person who hits him two shoes. A reward of one lakh per shoe will be given for hitting him,” said Dixit adding that if he meets Swami Prasad Maurya on any stage then he will also hit with shoes.

He said that Swami Prasad Maurya has insulted Ramcharitmanas. “Ramcharitmanas is the lifeline of Hindu society. Maurya burned the copies of Ramcharitmanas. The Jan Sangh Party opposes it and is standing ahead for the honour of Hindus,” he said.
