The Jan Sangh party is protesting against a statement made by Samajwadi Party leader Swami Prasad Maurya. Swami Prasad said that people who believe in Hinduism should be offended by Ramcharitmanas, a religious book. The Jan Sangh party leader and workers went to the Barra police station to file a complaint and demand that an FIR be filed against Maurya. Dixit said that he wants to give a message to the youth of today that he will give Rs 1 lakh to the person who hits Maurya with a shoe. If he meets Maurya on any stage, he will also hit him with shoes.
