Impressive performance by city schools in UP Board

Kanpur: UP Board results were announced on Tuesday. City schools claimed that they achieved hundred percent result. Adarsh Mohan, a student of class X of BNSD Shiksha Niketan was the school topper. He had scored 97 percent marks. He was followed by Abhay Pratap Singh, Daksh Katiyar and Akshay Shukla. The trio had secured 96.67 percent marks each. In class XII, Pratiksha Sachan of BNSD Shiksha Niketan was the school topper. She had secured 96.2 percent marks. The next four positions were also grabbed by the girl students. Mahi Sahu (95.4 percent), Aanshi Omar (95.2 percent), Sakshi Sharma (94.4 percent) and Mahi Chaurasia (94.4 percent) bagged the top position in the school. Manju Shukla, principal of BNSD Shiksha Niketan Balika Vidyalaya informed that 47 girl students had appeared in class X board exams and all of them have passed. She said that Anshi Yadav topped in the school by securing 94.5 percent marks. Tanisha Gupta remained on the second position. She had scored 93 percent marks. Students of Omkareshwar also passed out with flying colours. Anupam Pal of class X of this school secured 97 percent. His name figured in the state merit list. He stood at seventh (7th) poisition in the state list. He was followed by Ankit Jha who secured 96.67 percent. He stood at ninth (9th) position in the state list. In class XII, Animesh Gupta of this school figured in the state merit list. He was on the ninth position. He got 95.8 percent marks. Adarsh Singh and Ghanendra Singh both of class XII secured 95.6 percent marks each and stood at 10th position in state.
