IIT outplay Civils by 5 wkts

Indian Institute of Technology drubbed Civils Club by 5 wickets in Kanpur Cricket league match at their home ground on Saturday.
Batting first, Civils Club could manage 97 runs in 30.1 overs. Arbaz Khan and Ashwini Chandra were the main scorers and they added 20 and 23 runs respectively. For IIT, Vaibhav Sarvesh Pandey picked four wickets for 4 runs while Devanshu Arya and Sachin V Mali bagged two wickets each.
In their knock, IIT scored 101 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. Amit Meena, Rajeev Sharma and Navroz scored 21, 26 and 21 runs. Shubham Bhadoria took two wickets for 34 runs.
In another match, hosts Kanpur South outplayed Kanpur Cricketers by 7 wickets. Chasing a target of 128 runs, they achieved it by losing three wickets. Mohammad Shamim Hasan and Kunal Pandey scored 49 and 28 runs respectively. Gopal Singh and Saurabh Dubey captured two and one wickets respectively.
Batting first, Kanpur Cricketers scored 127 for 8 in 23 overs. Saurabh Dubey scored highest 73 runs for his side, hitting eight hits to the fence and three over the fence in 65 balls. Deepankar Malviya chipped 16 runs. Ankit Shukla bagged 3 wickets for 15 runs.
