KANPUR: More than 470 houses have been allotted to homeless, widows, destitute and physically challenged persons, who are BPL and Antyodaya card holders, stated additional district magistrate (civil supply)

He said that a list of beneficiaries had been pasted at Duda office while remaining applications are being examined.
Applications were invited from eligible persons for around 1,500 houses being constructed under Kanshi Ram Shahari Gareeb Awas Yojna (second phase).
As many as 18,000 applications were received.
Scrutiny, examination of documents and inquiry on the applications are being done by the tahsil officials, he added.
The allottees could get possession of the houses after presenting original papers such as ration card, caste certificate, domicile certificate, physically handicap certificate at office of ADM civil supplies.
