KANPUR: An event without colourful dresses is like an garden without blooming flowers.
At Antaragni, the participating students put on some of the latest trendy clothes which pulled the attention of one and all. Moreover, the funky hairdo, piercings and tattoos make these trendy students stand apart from rest of the crowd, making the event more colourful.
While girls were seen wearing off shoulder tops, tank tops, crop pants with matching dream catcher and dangler earrings, boys with amazing haircuts, beard looks, coloured hair, head bands and piercing on different parts of the body had also complimented their personality well.
While getting clicked for TOI, Shivangi Thakur of Daulat Ram College (DU) and also a participant in the event 'India choir event', was wearing a multicolour wrap round skirt with flowers printed on it and a black colour tank top.
Girls from Gargi College were seen wearing black attire to form a cloth synchronization. Aadya Chaudhary from this college was wearing off shoulder top with blue crop pants with multi colour danglers. "Off shoulder tops can go with anything and it is quite comfortable to carry such tops", said Aadya.
Dhruvika Bisht from fine arts society of Gargi college, who is participating in event 'Quilling' and 'Photo Booth Making', was wearing 'Tank Top with a Capri and accessorized it with a blue scarf. The two girls said that they mix their attires with change in weather to avoid getting cold as health is also very important.
Among boys,
Junaid Khan of RIMT College, Punjab, stole the charm with his cute ponytail. He had got his hair trimmed from sides. Talking to TOI, Junaid said that he had come to Antaragni for the first time and found IIT-Kanpur a lovely place. He said that he does modeling and looks forward to participate in Antaragni next year too.
