Goods train derails at Cantt area in Lalitpur district

, derailed on Friday afternoon on the Up line of busy Delhi-Bhopal track near railway crossing in Cantonment area in Talbeth under Lalitpur district.

Following derailment, vehicles on both sides of the track got stuck causing long traffic jam, and half-a-dozen trains halted for two long hours before the traffic could be resumed.

, Manoj Kumar Singh said the derailment took place between Matatila and Talbeth at 4pm. The movement of trains was resumed at around 6 pm, he added.
