Engineers' Day celebrated

KANPUR: The Institution of Engineers, Kanpur Local Centre and Institution of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineers organised a special function to mark the 45th Engineers' Day at IIT-Kanpur on Saturday.
At the beginning of the programme, Dr SN Singh, the chairman of the Institution of Engineers welcomed the chief guest Prof AK Chaturvedi, dean Research and Development, IIT-Kanpur and the theme speaker Dr Anup Singh from Department of Industrial Management and Engineering, IIT-Kanpur.
Narendra Kohli, chairman, Institution of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineers discussed the contribution of Sir M Vishwasaraiyya in the field of engineering. Meritorious students were also felicitated on the occasion.
