“We received a recommendation from SIT for initiating action against the accused for procurement of firearm licences on fake stamp papers, besides using SIM cards registered on other people’s name. Subsequently, an FIR has been lodged in this regard today under relevant sections of IPC,” said SSP/DIG Dr Preetinder Singh.
