Kanpur: Naseera Sharma, an eminent Hindi writer called upon upcoming young writers for creating innovative literature imbibing Indian social and cultural values in the interest of posterity.
Speaking at the prize distribution ceremony at the fifth National Hindi Essay writing competition organized by Sujata Varma Smriti Samiti on Thursday, Naseera said that the path to success for creative writers was difficult but not unattainable.
She advised them to have patience as they would succeed in their mission sooner or later.
Vice chancellor of CSJMU, Prof Vinay Pathak, who was the chief guest at the event said that need-based education was required for building a self-reliant nation. The government has introduced the new education system to make India a completely self-reliant nation.
Young writers Bhagwant Anmol (UP ), Sai Meera Joshi ( Chennai) and Sukarna Katiyar (UP ) were felicitated. Niharika Kunwar, Kajal Chaudhari and Rachna Chetan (MP ) were given cash prizes and Shyam Sunder Sachdeva Memorial gold and silver medals. Ankita Baghel,Babita Pathak and Anuradha Srivastva were given Har Prakash memorial gold and silver medals. Harsh Bhagat (WB ) was given a cash prize and Dr Sujata Varma silver medal. Niharika Kunwar, Kajal Chaudhari, Dipti and Sukarna Katiyar spoke about ‘Alfa, Beta, Gama’, a novel by Naseera Sharma.
On the occasion, books published by Vikas Prakashan ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Sambhavnayein Evam Chunautiyan’ and ‘Samajikta Samrasta key Agradoot Atal Bihari Vajpayee’, written by GP Varma and Vibha Pathak were released.
Suresh Awasthi, Kamal Musaddi, Sunita Agarwal, Dilip Dubey and Seema Varnika recited their verses. Priya Varma convened the function while Saran P Varma gave vote of thanks. Earlier, Dr Suresh Awasthi and Shubro Sen welcomed the guests. Rachna Sharma convened the program.
