Complaint filed against lawyers' assn official

KANPUR: A lawyer, Abhay Sharma, made a complaint against two lawyers, including joint secretary of the Lawyers' Association, to the Kanpur Bar Association (KBA) and district judge of Kanpur Nagar on Saturday.
Sharma, in his written complaint, alleged that Ashish Trivedi, joint secretary of Lawyers' Association, and his friend Ashish Mishra had thrashed him at around 5.30 pm on June 30.
A similar complaint had been lodged against Trivedi a few months back as well. That time, Trivedi was granted conditional bail by the court with an instruction of not involving in any violent act inside the court premises.
The complainant urged the district judge to take appropriate action as Ashish Trivedi had flouted the previous order.
