City girl Tania Verma bags 28th position in chess tournament

of Kanpur stood at the 28th place in the 35 MPL National Junior chess championship which concluded at RPS International School in Gurugram on Sunday.The championship will be remembered for upsets. Top seed GM Iniyan P could not play at par with his ranking, and slipped to the 12th place at the end. Similarly, second seed GM Arjun Kalyan too failed to capitalize the occasion and he finished at the 7th place.
