Kolhapur players managed to reach the circle on a few occasions, but they failed to capitalise on these opportunities as Chandigarh defenders efficiently cleared the ball. Meanwhile, Punjabi University Patiala shared points with Somiya University Mumbai in a 1-1 draw. In another fixture, Goa University defeated Udaipur University 2-0. Manipur University emerged victorious against SidhoKanho University Dumka (Jharkhand) with a 3-2 scoreline. Kolkata University prevailed over MG University Kottayam 1-0 in a keenly contested match. Admas University Bairakpur (West Bengal) overwhelmed Hem Chandra University 5-0 in a one-sided encounter. Kota University secured a comfortable 4-0 victory against Parul University Vadodara (Gujarat).
