Body of an unidentified 50-year-old man found inside Kalindi Express

KANPUR: Body of an unidentified 50-year-old man was found hanging inside a general coach of the Bhiwani-Kanpur bound Kalindi Express train at the Farrukhabad railway station on Saturday morning.
The matter came to light when the gate of the toilet of general coach was opened by some passengers after the train arrived at the railway station. The Farrukhabad station master's office was informed and GRP personnel and railway staff helped get the man's body down.The police sent the body to district hospital for a post-mortem.
"The man aged around 50, was found hanging from the hook of the toilet of general coach. Efforts are now underway to establish the identity of the man," inspector government railway police (GRP-Farrukhabad) Mithoon Dikshit said.
The Kanpur bound train, which arrived at around 7 am from Bhiwani, was to depart at 7.45am and it's quite possible that the man could have hanged self inside the coach while it was stationed at the railway station, said GRP source.
