Best discoveries and thesis were awarded on the concluding day of Cuticon-2011, the 29th annual conference of the India Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) at Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University on Sunday.

KANPUR: Best discoveries and thesis were awarded on the concluding day of Cuticon-2011, the 29th annual conference of the India Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) at Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University on Sunday.
The second day of Cuticon-2011 was dedicated to research paper presentation. Dr Kasis Kalara of SN Medical College Agra was awarded the gold medal for discovering mehendi and dye as agents for dermatitis.

Dr Nishi and Dr Manju Yadav were also given certificate of appreciation for their thesis and researches.
The doctors also participated in a quiz competition in which 10 teams participated from UP and Delhi. The team of Praveesh Yadava and Chaitanya Namdev of AIIMS were declared the winners.
Dr Tarun Mittal, secretory of the India Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists, informed that Dr Vijay Bakaya was selected as presidents of IADVL for the year 2012. He added Cuticon-2012 would be organised in Dehradoon.
