Banda’s Shambhavi Tiwari secures 46th rank in UPSC
Jhansi: Shambhavi Tiwari, a native of Tindwari, a small hamlet of Banda district, who later settled in Haldwani, Uttarakhand has secured 46th rank in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) 2025 examination whose results were declared on Friday. She was selected in her third d attempt. She got her entire education in UttarakhandPrior to this, in 2024, Shambhavi had secured 445th rank in the UPSC examination and got selected in the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS). Not being satisfied by the achievement, she again tried with a giant leap securing 46th rank.

Shambhavi, who is a single girl child of her parents, is a gold medalist in B.Tech (Electrical engineering) from Pant Nagar University in Haldwani.Shambhavi has credited her success to her parents and family. Her father Sushil Tiwari is serving as a lecturer of History at an inter college located in Kichha, Uttarakhand, while her mother Nivedita Tiwari is a professor at a degree college in Haldwani.
