KANPUR: All participating teams have arrived in Kanpur to play in the Road Safety World Series cricket tournament. West Indies and England teams will play their first matches without their captain as they have not reached the city so far.
According to Ajit media incharge Brian Lara who is leading Caribbean side will not be available in first match and in his absence Kirk Edwards will lead West Indies team. Similarly English team captain In Bell is not available for the first match hence Chris Temlett will lead England Legends.
As per schedule West Indies will play its first match against Bangladesh on Sunday and England will clash with Sri lanka legends on Tuesday ie. September 13, 2022.
On Sunday in the first match West indies will face the challenge of Bangladesh legends at 3.30 p.m and in second match Australia will play against Sri Lanka legends in the evening at 7.30 pm.
