Kanpur: Have you ever seen a robot playing drums and being part of the live music band show churning out rocking musical numbers? If no, then one such robot named 'Robo Beats', developed by a team of eight students of Babu Banarasi Das University (BBDU) in Lucknow, would be playing drums before the crowd at Techkriti on Friday .
This would be for the first time that this special robot would be exhibiting its talent.The student team from BBD would be using the robot for participating in the robotic events at Techkriti aimed at winning the competitions.
The students under team name `Team Spicy' would contest in the robotic competition.The students have kept their robot project hidden from their parents in an anticipation to give them a surprise when they emerge as a winner of some robotic event. The team BBD is confident of winning the competition and making a name in the field of robotics. Sandeep Gupta, Ajay Jaiswal, Akash Purohit, Shantanu Singh, Ashutosh Pandey , Kumar Shanu Singh, Saksham Saxena and Avinash Bhaskar have developed the robot.
