8 teams to clash in cricket tournament

Kanpur: Eight senior division teams of Kanpur Cricket Association will participate in the Anant Rao Patil Memorial cricket tournament, organised by Superior Spirits Sports Academy on Feb 10.Pramod Patil, organising secretary, informed that the participating eight teams are KDMA, Kanpur South Academy, Diamond Club, Sir Padampat Singhania Academy, Superior Sports Academy, Bharat Club, South Gymkhana and National Youth. All matches would be played at Kanpur South ground, with each innings comprising 35 overs.Boxing trials - Selection trials for district and divisional level sub-junior girls' boxing championship will be held at Green Park Stadium on Feb 4.
