Kanpur: A total of 52 entrepreneurs from Kanpur will invest in the third Groundbreaking Ceremony to be held in Lucknow on June 3.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest during the ceremony. The event is scheduled to be held at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow.
Several big industrialists, including Gautam Adani, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Sajjan Jindal and Anant Amabani, besides ministers, MPs and MLAs are expected to participate in the event, the third since Yogi Adityanath first became chief minister of the state in 2017. The first groundbreaking ceremony, also presided over by the PM, took place months after the 2018 February Investors’ Summit where the government had signed MoUs worth over Rs 4 lakh crore.
This year, four big investors from Kanpur will be involved in the main programme to be held in Lucknow, while the remaining 48 will take part through the live telecast of the program on LED at the

Zila Udyog Protsahan

and Udhamita Vikas Kendra in Kanpur.
Rimjhim Stainless Limited from Kanpur has offered the highest investment of Rs 250 crore.
The company is going to expand its stainless steel flat product capacity.
Along with this, Rays International, engaged in pressure pipe and fittings, has proposed an investment of Rs 5 crore. Likewise, Tirupati Polymax Exim Pvt Ltd has proposed an investment of Rs 1.5 crore. The company’s Rohit Garg has also been invited to Lucknow. The company manufactures polythene films used in food packaging.

, said on June 3 arrangements will be in place for the live telecast of the ceremony at Zila Udyog Protsahan and Udhamita Vikas Kendra in Kanpur. The remaining 48 entrepreneurs have been invited to attend the event.
