KANPUR: The
class XII result
of
four inmates of Kanpur district jail
has not been declared by
UP Board so far. According to the result available on internet, they are absent in two papers and their result is incomplete.
The jail authorities have claimed that they had appeared in all their papers and it might be a technical error.
Deputy jailer Rajesh Rai told TOI that results of these four inmates is marked an incomplete result on the UP Board website.
There might be some technical problem or an error for this incomplete result. “We have lodged a complaint with UP Board on the same day when results were announced. We are hopeful that soon the result of all four inmates would be uploaded and they will pass,“ he added.
Rai said that in 2016, seven inmates had appeared for class XII and all had secured first division. He said in past few years, dozens of jail inmates from
Kanpur district jail
had secured good marks and performed well.
A teacher appointed by jail department guides these inmates. They even take help from their counterparts who are good in a particular subject. “There postgraduate and graduate inmates in the jail.They help the Board examinees,“ he said.
