KANPUR: As many as 33 students locked the seats of their choice on the fourth day of
CPMT counselling going on at Ganesh Shanker Vidyarthi Medical College on Friday.
Counselling coordinator RP Sharma said that students from rank 601 to 2000 took part in counselling. Students ranked between 2001 to 6500 were asked to get registered for counselling on Saturday.
Around 19 students locked the seats for MBBS on day four. Whereas, eight got the seats in BDS programme. Also six of them locked the seats for BDMS programme, added Sharma.
The counselling concluded at 4.30 pm.
The second phase of CPMT counselling will conclude on September 13. The newly admitted candidates will undergo a medical test after which they can join the batches in the colleges of their choices.
The seats of SC category were full on the second day of counselling, whereas the seats of general and OBC categories are yet to be filled.
The students will get a chance to lock the dental seats in private colleges on the last day of counselling, added Sharma.
