3 women sexually assaulted and blackmailed

Kanpur: Three women fell victim to a crime of sexual assault and blackmail in Banda district. The case revealed a pattern of systematic exploitation that began with deceptive job offers.
About six months ago, the victims were introduced to the accused through a mutual acquaintance, Naveen Kumar. The accused, identified as Ashish Agarwal, Swatantra Sahu, and Lokendra Singh Chandel, allegedly took the victim into confidence before beginning their criminal activities.
According to the police report, the accused first administered intoxicants to the victims without their knowledge or consent and then they made compromising videos of the women in vulnerable states. These recordings were used to blackmail and exploitation.
The police has made arrangements for medical examinations of the victims. The police have registered a case under various sections of the BNS. The police teams are conducting raids at several locations to apprehend the accused.tnn
