17-yr-old girl ends life in Etawah

Kanpur: A 17-year-old girl locked herself in a room and ended her life in Etawah district on Monday. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived, conducted an investigation, and sent the body for postmortem.
The girl's father said that his daughter went to sleep after dinner on Sunday evening.
When she did not come out of the room on Monday, he called her for tea. Receiving no response, he peeked inside and was shocked to found her body.
Lavedi SO Kapil Chaudhary stated that the reason for the suicide is not yet clear. "Further action will be taken based on the autopsy report and written statements," he said.tnn
