14 trains cancelled

The authorities of North Central Railway (NCR) have decided to cancel 14 trains taking into account foggy conditions in days to come. Eight trains have been partially suspended for the same reason.

KANPUR: The authorities of North Central Railway (NCR) have decided to cancel 14 trains taking into account foggy conditions in days to come. Eight trains have been partially suspended for the same reason.
The trains which have been cancelled are 2873/2874 Jharkhand Express, 4309/4310 Ujjaini Express, 3039/3040 Janta Express, 4005/4006 Lichavi Express, 4723/4724 Kalindi Express, 2033/2034 Shatabdi Express and 4115/4116 Haridwar Express.

The trains which will remain partially suspended are 5003/5004 Chauri Chaura Express, 3111/3112 Kolkata Express, 3007/3008 Toofan Udayan Express and 4217/4218 Ucchahar Express. The set of these four trains will remain suspended from December 23 to January 31.
NCR spokesperson Rajesh Dutt Bajpai said that changes have been made keeping in view accidents that took place in the past due to low visibility during foogy weather conditions.
