1 dead, 3 injured as auto overturns

Kanpur: A man was killed while three others suffered serious injuries after an auto rickshaw overturned near Patara town in Ghatampur area on the highway on Monday.Suresh, a resident of Alapur village in Kanpur Dehat, said that he was going to Kanpur in his auto, when the vehicle went out of control and overturned while trying to avoid a dumper that was overtaking from the opposite direction on the Kanpur-Sagar highway.In the accident, auto passengers Rajkumar, Neha Kushwaha and her 12-year-old son Ansh, were injured. They were referred to the district hospital, where doctors declared Rajkumar dead. tnn
