Congress leader has filed a petition in court against BJP national president JP Nadda and party’s IT cell in-charge Amit Malviya over a social media post by the saffron party showing Congress leader Rahul Gandhi as a new age Ravan.
District president of Congress’s legal cell and advocate Dinesh Joshi has moved this petition in the court of the Metropolitan Magistrate No.
1. Matter has been listed for hearing on October 11.
In his petition, Joshi has pleaded that a case be registered against both Nadda and Malviya for defiling the image of a national level leader of Congress.
“The accused publicised the post deliberately with ill-intention. The aim of the accused is to insult Congress and hurt the people associated with the party,” the petition said.
