Jodhpur: Jodhpur police has initiated steps to boost public participation in controlling crimes and maintaining law and order. With this in view, the commissionerate has decided to strengthen the beat system at all the police stations under the commissionerate and hold meetings with public on regular basis.Beat officers, intelligence officers and beat supervisors will include CLG members of their respective beat areas and hold public hearings on a regular basis besides maintaining a proper record of the beat files. tnn
