HC quashes Asaram’s plea for treatment in Pune centre

Jodhpur: Rajasthan High Court on Wednesday rejected the application of Asaram seeking permission for treatment at a medical centre in Pune.The court rejected the plea after a report from Pune police suspecting threat to law and order situation during his admission in the hospital.With this, the division bench of Justice V K Mathur and Justice Dinesh Mehta has asked him to have treatment at the ayurveda university hospital in Jodhpur and has sought details whether the required treatment is available there or not. The court has directed the AAG to submit this report in the court on March 22, the next hearing.
