Jodhpur gangrape: Cops seek fast-track court for swift trial
Suresh Jat, the employee of the Krishna Guest House, had attempted to rape the girl after learning the minors had run away from home.
He gave them separate rooms in the guest house and attempted to rape her by entering her room pretending to give her a water bottle. She raised an alarm and both managed to escape from the guest house.
The two were then accosted by the three college students who took them to the hockey ground of the old campus of the university and took turns to rape the girl while holding her friend hostage in the wee hours.

"We have submitted a 414-page chargesheet which contains biological, technical, digital and circumstantial evidence," said ACP Nishant Bhardwaj, who headed the SIT that investigated the matter.
"We have also asked for a fast-track court for speedy trial so as to convict the accused as early as possible," said the officer. According to the chargesheet, one of the three accused regretted the act and feared being caught but was silenced by others while attempting to flee to Jaisalmer.
"They had tea at Ratanada Circle but were spotted by the police, who swung into action. They tried to run away to the hillocks of Ganesh Temple but fell down and fractured their legs and hands and got caught by the police," he said. Police have also submitted the DNA report, confirming gangrape, and have made her friend a prosecution and eye-witness.
