Donald Trump's daughter cuts short her Rajasthan trip; here's what happened
JAISALMER: Amid the intense summer heat gripping Jaisalmer, Tiffany Trump, the younger daughter of US President Donald Trump, cut short her scheduled engagements in the city and departed for Jamnagar, Gujarat, on Monday morning aboard a private aircraft. She was accompanied by her husband, Michael Boulos, and US Ambassador to India, Sergio Gor.
Her departure had originally been scheduled for 4.00pm, but the itinerary was revised due to the extreme weather conditions. Tiffany was scheduled to visit two of Jaisalmer’s prominent tourist attractions, i.e., Gadisar Lake and the historic Patwon Ki Haveli, but left for Jamnagar without visiting them.
Officials from the Jaisalmer district administration and other authorities bid her a warm farewell at Jaisalmer Civil Airport at around 9.00am.
During her departure, Tiffany described her stay in Jaisalmer as “memorable” and praised the city's iconic , calling it “incredible.”
According to available information, Tiffany Trump, Michael Boulos, and Ambassador Sergio Gor departed Jaisalmer at approximately 9.15am aboard a special charter aircraft bound for Jamnagar, Gujarat.
Stringent security arrangements were in place at Jaisalmer Civil Airport as Tiffany Trump, Michael Boulos, and their entourage arrived for departure. Security agencies remained on high alert throughout the visit.
During her stay in Jaisalmer, Tiffany explored the historic Jaisalmer Fort and other heritage sites, experienced Rajasthan’s vibrant folk culture, and shared photographs and videos from the trip on social media. Ambassador Sergio Gor accompanied her throughout the visit.
Tiffany also posted pictures and videos from Suryagarh Jaisalmer and Jaisalmer Fort on her social media accounts. The posts showcased her traditional Rajasthani welcome at the luxury hotel, where women artists dressed in colorful local attire performed the famous . Tiffany recorded the performance on her mobile phone and later shared it online.
On Sunday evening, a special dinner was organized in honor of Tiffany Trump and Michael Boulos at Suryagarh. Folk artists from the Thar Desert presented traditional songs and Sufi music using indigenous instruments. The couple enjoyed performances of and other cultural programs late into the night. Videos from the musical evening were also shared on Tiffany’s social media platforms.
The couple also visited the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Jaisalmer Fort, where they learned about its rich history and remarkable architecture. Built from golden-yellow sandstone, the fort left a strong impression on both visitors.
Tiffany additionally shared photographs with Ambassador Sergio Gor, referring to him as a friend in her social media posts.
Throughout the visit, the Jaisalmer police and district administration maintained extensive security arrangements from the airport to tourist attractions and the hotel premises.
