JODHPUR: AIIMS Jodhpur administration has suspended a third-year MBBS student, who is missing since May 2, on charges of appearing as a dummy candidate in the recently held NEET exam. The action has come after an investigation by Bihar police.

Confirming the suspension, sources from AIIMS said the student, Hukmaram Godara, a resident of Barmer, had appeared in place of a NEET applicant at an exam centre in Muzaffarpur, Bihar.

"We received information from Bihar police about Hukmaram, following which we suspended him," said a source, adding that Bihar police urged the AIIMS administration to share with them any information concerning Hukmaram. Hukmaram allegedly appeared in lieu of Raj Pandey, the son of a renowned doctor in Prayagraj, for a payment of Rs 4 lakh. He was caught at the exam centre during biometric checking.

Interestingly, he was let off by the exam centre (DAV School, Muzaffarpur) after being asked to submit a letter of apology. For this, even the centre administration is under the radar of Bihar police.

According to the AIIMS administration, Hukmaram has been missing since May 2. He did not appear for a recent exam held at AIIMS. Police went to his house in Barmer but he was not found there.

Bharath is a land of cheats.There is bound to be cheating in all exams. Most exams conducted by central govt agencies, cheating is comparatively less.Most exams conducted by state government, private medical colleges --- pre neet Era, were total fraud, dubankur. Even 18 years back during pmpd exams ,impersonation took place in chennai region, in which then health ministers people were involved, during manmohansing govt.all culprits were identified and removed and counselling and admission were cleared after removing the fraud students. Similarly this year too after debarring fraud students the submission for ug based on neet rank should go on...The same should happen every year, As fraud will happen, abd fraud students should be identified and barred fronm any course for life, and should goto begging in streets...because Bharath is a land of frauds.. in all fields including swamijis of religion.
