3 students of class XI drown in Surpura dam

Jodhpur: Three schoolboys drowned in a pond of Surpura dam, nearly 10 km off Jodhpur city, on Wednesday morning. They were students of class XI of the same school and friends, said police.The three bodies recovered from the pond by divers were identified as those of Swaroop Singh, Jai Deep Singh and Gautam. They had come to the dam on two bicycles to enjoy the pleasant weather. While they reached the dam at about 10am, their drowning became known at about 4pm. “The three boys came to the dam at about 10am and parked their bicycles in the parking lot,” said DCP (East) Amrita Duhan.
