Shah's visit: AAP 'purifies' city with Ganga water

ROHTAK: The Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday held a 'havan' at their party office and sprinkled Gangajal in parts of the city to 'purify' it after the three-day stay of BJP national president Amit Shah.

leader Naveen Jaihind said, they sprinkled Gangajal at all places including the Tilyar tourist spot where Shah stayed and held rounds of meeting with his party leaders and workers.

Jaihind said, the obstruction created by the ruling BJP party from sprinkling holy water at Shaheed Samarak, where Amit Shah and others with him paid tribute with their shoes on, shows the mindset of the saffron party.

He said, "Shah is a toxic man and sprinkling of Gangajal was the need of the hour." Jaihind also criticised chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar for promoting 'Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao' on one side and giving patronage to 'molesters' on the other in a reference to the stalking case that involved BJP state president Subhash Barala's son in Chandigarh.
