JAMMU: Udhampur Police on Friday solved a patricide case solved within 05 hours of the heinous crime with the arrest of the accused son.
Police said, “Udhampur Police solved a murder case within 5 hours in which a man from Kaghote, Ramnagar was murdered by his son after an altercation between both of them.”
“A first information report under Section (302) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) got registered at Ramnagar police station."
Police said, "Gopichand, a resident of Kaghote, was attacked with a hammer by his son namely Joginder Kumar at his home in the wee hours of June 7, after some altercation the body was kept at home and the accused fled the spot after committing the crime.”
After receiving the information, police rushed to the crime scene collected all the evidence and shifted the body to Ramnagar hospital for postmortem.
