SAMBA: Police on Monday arrested six anti-social elements in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba.
"The apprehended accused have been identified as Manish Sharma, Abhishek Atri, Vishal Billowria, Anshu Prabhal, Neeraj Nagyal and Pankaj Padhwal, all residents of Samba," Police said.
Police said, "Manish Sharma is a rape suspect, but the other people who were detained were caught for vagrancy in accordance with the law after being discovered wandering and roaming in the heroin (or "chitta")-infested hotspots under suspicious circumstances”.
"The raids were carried out in border areas of Samba and in Vijaypur police jurisdiction”.
