Jammu and Kashmir: 4 more held for 'rioting' at Ladha Dhar

Four more accused were arrested for their alleged involvement in rioting at Ladda Dhar in Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban district.

JAMMU: Ramban Police on Thursday arrested four more accused in Ladda Dhar riot case.
At least 12 people of a community were injured in the riot.
The arrested accused have been identified as Zakir Hussain, Sher Ali, Abdul Rashid and Nazir Ahmed.
A written complaint was filed by a complainant mentioning that a group of people belonging to the Gujjar community attacked them and cattle on August 10.

Police had arrested two accused on the same day.
Two prime accused - Mohd Hussain and Abdul Rashid - both residents of Kanachak Laddadhar Kriya had been arrested on August 12.
Ramban Police said the issue related to the grazing lands is being resolved by the district administration in collaboration with the forest department while the people are requested to maintain peace in the area.
