Yogendra Singh is new DIG of BSF sector North

Jaisalmer: Yogendra Singh Rathore has been appointed as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Jaisalmer sector North. Previously serving as the commandant at the BSF training center in Jodhpur, Rathore will take over from DIG Aseem Vyas, who has been elevated to the rank of Inspector General (IG). Rathore will assume his new responsibilities in Jaisalmer sector soon. This sector comprises four battalions, which will now fall under his command.Rathore’s illustrious career boasts numerous accomplishments. He holds the distinction of commanding the BSF day parade four times, including the BSF Raising Day parade in Jaisalmer in 2021. tnn
