NEW DELHI: A 22-year-old woman was hit by a train and died in the Mahesh Nagar area of Jaipur on Thursday, according to the police.
Sub-inspector Mukesh Meena stated that the woman has not been identified yet.
The incident took place near the Mahesh Nagar railway crossing on Thursday morning.
Locals discovered the woman's body and alerted the police, who then moved the body to the mortuary at Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur.
"The police are probing the matter to find out if it was a case of suicide or accident," Meena said.
