Woman, 2 sons killed in wall collapse

Jaipur/Ajmer: A woman and her two sons died after a wall collapsed amid heavy storm at Khutiya village in Bijaynagar town of Ajmer district Sunday morning. Two others, including the woman’s 6-year-old granddaughter, were injured.
According to police, a heavy storm hit Bijaynagar, about 76 kilometers from Ajmer, early in the morning. “There was a kaccha house of one Som Nath, a farmer.The family was sleeping inside. The wall of the room collapsed upon the people sleeping there. Neighbours took out the bodies. Nanki Devi, 50, and two of her sons, Suresh, 20, and Gyan Nath, 18, were killed. Renu, her granddaughter, along with her mother were injured,” said SHO Dinesh Kumar.
Meanwhile, the Jaipur Met office issued an alert for thunderstorms with heavy rains in many areas of the state for Monday.
